We should give up in the pre-season and assume that this year will be the same as last? Well that just takes all the fun out of things! Every team in america is undefeated right now with high hopes for a good season. Utah has tons of talent and there is no reason not to be optimistic. As for the injury bug, I think most people will agree that if BYU had lost Hall for a few games, Unga for the season, Collie for the season, and Dallas Reynolds or Travis Bright for the season, that it would have been tougher for BYU to win 11 games. Utah still managed 9 wins and had a pretty good season. I think BYU would have experienced a similar result had they lost their offensive stars like that.
