No doubt that Bronco
has brought the team out of the mists of darkness into some prosperity in recent years. I don't recall the string of bowl wins or rankings in my lifetime. Let's face it our team has one national championship from 28 years ago, and we were darn lucky to get it. An undefeated season like that in today's environment would not yield a national championship with that schedule.
Bronco has fielded a very good team that with some minor tweaks could go from a good to a fantastic season. Let's hope the recent recruiting will help in that regard. There is little reason to look elsewhere right now.
Let's also face the reality that Kyle Whittingham is a fantastic person and coach with a completely different style from that of Bronco. He too would have been a great fit and coach for BYU.
