The first example that comes to my mind is Juan Uribe. The guy is good but hes old. In the Giants world series run Uribe hit about .280. But it 'seemed' like a really really clutch .280. The guy came up with big hits at the right time, that IMO made his value similar to someone that hits over .300.

Thats all Im saying. You want consistency and all that for most of your team. But some guys just have that gamer mentality that cannot be measured by stats.
