pressure and scrutiny as Bronco. Every little thing he does isn't advertised over the internet. This stems from the fact that while basketball is a big revenue sport, there are many many more BYU football fans than BYU basketball fans.
It also doesn't help that football is a far more complicated game. There is a much larger staff, and therefore, more possibilities for deficiencies. Bronco also has to manage many many more athletes which drastically increases the probability that he will deal with academic failure and honor code problems. I will probably catch a little flak for some of the comments I'm making, but I'm just calling it how I see it.
Your arguments/opinions may have some merit, but this really isn't as simple an argument as you're making it.
