FEATURE UPDATE: Reciprocal ignore changes (important)
The reciprocal ignore feature was meant to be a "last resort" for dealing with problems. Some people, however, have been using it far too gratuitously. In fact, one user has over 200 reciprocal ignores. As such, I have decided to modify how it affects your account.

As you may know, an "ignore score" is calculated for each user, based on how many people have ignored him. The calculation only uses donors, so that people can't easily game the system by setting up multiple accounts. In addition, how many people you have ignored is taken into account when calculating the value of your ignores on someone else's ignore score. The more ignores you have, the less your ignore affects their score.

If your ignore score is 20 or higher, your posts will not show up for users who have not logged in, or by default for logged in users who have not changed their ignore filter.

As of today, I have added an additional factor into the ignore score calculation: the number of reciprocal ignores. Hopefully, this penalty for using reciprocal ignore will encourage people to use it a little more sparingly.
