For people with just 2 smartphones it will cost an extra $10-15 depending on how much data you need and you lose unlimited data if you already had it. I broke my phone and instead of upgrading just got a basic smartphone off of ebay to keep my unlimited data and to wait until my wife's contract is up so we can decide then if we want to switch carriers or stay with verizon.
