I never said BYU football works harder
than every other program in the country. Just that we work hard. Very hard. All year. I seriously don't know if it is physically possible to work much harder. We aren't sitting around while Alabama works. Some people seem to think the team takes it easy and prides itself on getting to 10 wins on the least effort possible. This couldn't be more wrong. Bronco runs a tight ship and EVERYBODY works very hard, from stars to scrubs (which is different than the Crowton years and many other programs).

If you want to debate that we should work smarter, fine. Although I seriously doubt many people on this board have enough knowledge about both the current program and training methods other teams use to carry on a worthwhile conversation on that topic.

And while I agree (I also have a track background) that maximum intensity speed work shouldn't be done everyday, you will probably be hard pressed to find a football coach anywhere that doesn't make his players run full speed at some point during practice almost everyday. It can't really be helped.
