Count me among those that doesn't think being "mean" and "nasty" is required

for good performance. Just because some people's performance/actions are fueled by their emotions, doesn't mean it's the emotions that give results. There are a lot of good players out there that can do their job and do it well, and keep a cool head at the same time.
