You won't be able to tell those who know from those that don't. But always be wary of conflicts of interest like the Beck/Burton connection. I watched Burton and the Springville program since about 9th grade. Lots of talent but poorly managed because the head coach at Springville wanted his kid to be a RB at a D1 school. Burton was a handoff artist. Kids who had played WR for years were brushed off and not developed because of this situation. Burton was never developed.
