And one interesting thing where he is kind of an outsider to BYU circles (despite sharing a religion with the university), he might know less about the history of BYU basketball than a lot of posters here. So if he can flip the recruiting paradigm of BYU away from its historical trajectory - well he'll win a lot of devoted followers. But portal results so far don't seem to give an indication that that's going to happen. For now it looks like we'll continue to appeal to our traditional pool of recruits. His pro career never revolved around dealing with recruiting players to follow a strict off-the-court honor code, so that might be an eye awakening experience for him.
