I'm hoping the Avs can push this out at least one more game, but I'm afraid that they are done. The first period of the last game (an hour after learning he was out) was very telling from the players. Their minds were not on the game at all.

I hope Val can get help and overcome whatever addictions he has but for the 2nd year in a row he has torpedoed the team's season.
