Later lavish salaries. Unfortunately we see similar issues within salaries from organizations like the Red Cross and from a variety of unions. Including the educational system in the US. That being said I wouldn’t condemn the entire organization for those who abused the system.

Interestingly enough, a lot of board members of charitable organizations are already independently wealthy. I don’t excuse lavish salaries from that, but people somewhere believe it appropriate to pay higher salaries to such executives.

I wholeheartedly wish that more of that money was put to use in the salaries of the district and council level leaders that sacrificed so much.

That being said CEO BSA is about 200k
Red Cross about 700K
Alpine School District about 200k as well
