It depends. We just did a week on Oahu and stayed at Aulani the whole time.

Dole plantation is not necessary imo. Like others said, Visit Honolulu and Waikiki, don't stay there.

Check out the Marriott Ko Olina property. It’s near Aulani. Nice place to stay and much more reasonably priced than the

We enjoyed climbing the stairs to the top of Diamond Head. Great view and a good workout.
