That's awesome. I've been looking into a .243 for my son. I love lever actions. My first deer rifle was a 30-30 model 94
I have since inherited another Winchester 30-30 and a .32 special that were my great grandpas. I've thought about passing one of those down to my son when he turns 12 next year
