Get criminal record? Reports are they the semi driver who ran over the officer had prior convictions a few years ago including attempting to assault an officer with a vehicle. How did this guy get hired to be driving a semi with a record like that? I wonder if there is going to be some culpability with whichever company hired him or did background checks on him. The circumstances are kind of sketchy as to what exactly he was trying to do… intentionally trying set up a situation to kill an officer? Getting caught in a lie? There isn’t really any info out there on why or how he was in the semi to begin with.
