Can anyone define the NCAA's current role in collegiate sports?
Seems like they went from being inconsistent, punitive, confusing and (as it turns out) not law-abiding in their treatment of atheletes - to what? Now they have lifted nearly all restrictions on everything everywhere. It's like a total 180 because they are afraid of being sued into oblivion, and now there is literally no oversight over anything.

I think we all can see it. College sports will break away from the NCAA and become it's own thing with a governing body or a commissioner. The sad thing is that it will be run buythe SEC and B10, so it won't actually follow the commissioner model because it will be biased and slanted.

Whatever.
