it showcased her singing ability and drinking issues. Not surprisingly she started drinking at age 12. Her grandmother I guess was a jazz singer and I’m sure that’s probably how she was introduced to alcohol so early in life. If you start any mind altering chemical at that age, you are going to struggle in life.

It’s interesting how many musicians struggle with addiction. I’m sure the pressure combined with easy access to any drug makes a sober lifestyle difficult no to mention your workplace being surrounded by alcohol all the time.
