Maybe now that he wants to play D he's reconsidering Utah
For all the reasons he was quoted as saying in Vai's article, he should go to BYU. If those are indeed his real thoughts and feelings, the Y is the place for him.
Otherwise, with switching to the defensive side, utah isn't a bad path for him. He can possibly reach his football potential at BYU but Utah has a better track record when it comes to guys that switch from offense to defense. Paul Kruger, Sean Smith, Eric Weddle, for starters. He would be a great LB in either system.
