I think we will be a little more effective than last yr covering the run mostly because we have better players and depth at secondary this yr. Van Noy's numbers took a hit because he dropped into coverage a lot more than his JR year. We should be able to focus more on stuffing the run and rushing the passer with the secondary we have. MLB is disconcerting with our lack of depth and experience.
OLBs (A little lacking on experience, but high potential):
Fua (Great Athlete, if he is up to 235 or so like has been reported he will be better at stopping the run this yr)
Kaufusi (Will be great at stopping the run)
Warner (4-star, a little small)
Hinds (4-star, right size, but just off mission)
Cook (3-star with a ton of offers, a little small)
MLB:
Pikula (Solid, could have breakout year)
Stout (We will see)
Langi (said he wanted to play MLB)
Heder
Leauta Douyere
DL:
Tuiloma (I bet he will start and play well)
Johnson (Played some solid football last yr)
Rowley (Solid player with a lot of experience. Hopefully playing at a lower weight doesn't affect his ability to play the run)
Peck (A smaller, but craft player. A little concerning on covering the run due to smaller size)
