but if it did, it's not going to be that hard of a decision for the committee. They're not going to pick a 1 loss team over an undefeated team that beat them at home. That would easily be bigger than any win by a non-power conference team during the BCS era. Texas would probably be at least top 5 or 6, and maybe better. BYU would be ranked ahead of them and make it into the top 4.

There are scenarios where BYU goes undefeated and doesn't make the playoff, but this isn't one of them.

But we'll lose a few games during the year, making this a non-issue.
