This isn't unique to us. Across the nation, the winningest teams are often the
most penalized teams as well.
It really flies in the face of conventional wisdom, and certainly dumb penalties at inopportune times can kill drives on offense or extend drives on defense, but apparently the correlation between winning and committing few penalties isn't what you would think.
