I know a lot of BYU fans were saying that UVA will have the best D line you will face all year, but as a biased fan I believe that BSU has a better D line and there are stats to back that up.

Boise State is ranked 2nd in rush defense this year allowing 53.50 yards a game. LA-Lafayette rushed for 193 yards against Ole Miss. They only rushed for 67 yards against us. Our front seven is the real deal. BSU is also ranked 9th in sacks with 14, ranked 2nd in tackles for loss with 37 and ranked 1st in interception with 8 (I realize that is not our D line, but we pressure the QB a lot which causes errant passes).

Our offense had been inconsistent this year like others have pointed out. We do have Jay Ajayi is averaging 123 yards rushing a game and 174 all purpose yards a game. Then Matt Miller is averaging 104 yards receiving per game.

Personally I think this game will come down to whether or not we can stop the run. If we can hold you guys under a 100 yards rushing that gives us a chance to win at home. If we can't do that then I believe BYU wins the game for sure. One other thing to factor in with both teams is our secondaries both have flaws. Which team exploits that the best will probably end up winning.
