Massively false. This is one of those supposed "Broncoisms" that is not even
remotely based in reality. Coaches spend a TON of time breaking down opponent's film and game-planning for that particular opponent. You've heard of the "scout" team, right? I'm sure you understand that the role of the scout team is to provide our guys practice against what they are likely to see from the opponent. Our two-deep guys spend all week practicing a specific game plan against the looks provided by the scout team. Also, those cards that you see Howell and Anae holding on the sidelines aren't just a bunch of random stuff. They are plays/calls that can be used in various circumstances as the game progresses, and they are customize each week with that week's game plan. I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but somehow this common knowledge isn't enough to kill the idea that Bronco doesn't game plan for specific opponents.

Coaches are always going to be more worried about their own team's execution than they are with what the other guys are going to do, but that doesn't mean that they don't try diligently to put their guys in the best position possible to be successful. That means game-planning.
