Nobody is hoarding it, its the people who are buying them and reselling them
at a profit on sites like backpage.com and stuff.

I bought several thousand rounds before the craziness. Since then, I have hardly bought any simply because I cannot find it and I don't go out of my way to get it.

If you are truly desperate for .22lr, you can get it, at normal retail prices. Call your local wal Mart, Sportsman's, Cabelas and ask them when they usually get ammo shipments in. I know several people who have done this and it worked out.

I'm also part of a facebook group where locals will post when they find .22lr around town. If you are quick you can snag a box for yourself. I've had several opportunities like that for myself and have helped friends and family find it that way.
