Ours was set to auto renew on Jan 29th - in 5 days. Just gifted myself a membership and will now go & "end membership" on the 29th. Will use my new gifted membership to renew on the 30th! Thanks for the heads up and directions on how to do it, for current prime members. You just saved me $27.
