BYU basketball has a bunch of players that basically are spot-up, 3-point shooters. We live and die by the 3. For whatever reason, in the state of utah, the 3-point shot is the most popular, and that's what all the high schoolers practice on. Haws is a great mid-range shooter, BUT, he needs a screen to get him open for a shot. Jimmer was the acception. Wicked cross-over, could drive to the hoop, create his own shot. We do not have that this year and rarely do. To me, Emery is a shorter version of Haws. He lit up the Marriott center the other day shooting 3's of course, with no one guarding him. BYU basketball is what it is. I don't see another run like Ainge had. We just don't have the athleticism.
