But i don't see the case at all for Bit Coin as a currency alternative to fiat currency.
Since the move away from the gold standard, dollar value has been based on the fact that the government is willing to accept it in payment for taxes.
Until i can understand how Bit Coin can superimpose itself into that space, i'm settled in my view.
i would welcome a disrupting argument; i just haven't seen one that i understand. Rather, i think there are many brilliant, rich people who don't understand what gives the dollar its value.
Not saying Bit Coin has no value; am saying it is not a currency.
