With the exception of assists, Exum is better than Stockton as a rookie. He has fewer turnovers and almost double the 3 point percentage. The kid is way more valuable on defense than Tre Burke, so I say be patient. Tre is proving to be a great back up point guard. Whether or not he will continue to be fine coming off the bench will be seen, but for now he is great as a 6th man.
I believe that Quin Snyder can further develop and train Dante this offseason. He just needs some more confidence with his drives into the paint going to the hoop. Tre is already much, much better at that than he was last year, so I think Snyder is the man to also help develop Dante.
What the Jazz need badly this offseason is a quality back up center. I'm intrigued by Cooley, but think he's more of a 3rd string center/pf. Also we need a good small forward to back up Hayward. Ingles isn't 2nd string material. If we get a quality backup sf and center we will be a playoff team for sure (assuming Hayward, Favors and Gobert stay healthy).
