Projectors are fairly cheap these days.
I used to have an Optoma HD20 that delivers 1080p and it only cost me $550.

The Epson Projectors that are between 800-1300 are the best overall though (at least of those that are affordable to most people)

For projector screens I usally reccomend to just paint your wall. Get the wall smoothed out first and look up some amazing paint mixes online (blackwidow ultra paint mix is great) and you will get a much better picture than a screen that you would buy from anyone that costs less than $400. Painting your own screen sounds like a cheap, not very high quality way to do it...but that is only half true. It is definitely cheap, but if you get the right mix of paint it is very high quality. Unless you buy a $5000 projector screen.
