I don't think I've ever seen him drop a pass that was catchable. He runs the defenseless routes across the middle of the field and holds onto the ball knowing he's about to get smacked. He goes to spots on the field where he knows he'll have separation on the defender and show the quarterback he'll be open before he gets there. He reminds me a lot of Austin Collie. But everyone here is more obsessed with Blackmon or Mathews or Kurtz.
I've said this before, and I'm serious, if I had to choose between Pearson or Britain Covey, I'd take Pearson. I'm glad he'll be back next year and I expect with Mathews, Houk, and Blackmon gone, he'll become one of Tanners's favorite targets. (Or Taysom's, if Taysom hears our prayers).
