We have a poor secondary that has played as many as 20 yards off the LOS at the moment of the snap of the ball and still got torched. The last time I saw our defense tackle this poorly was in 2001... It was awful. And if a team was 3rd and 55... Our defense will find some way of giving that team a first down.

We got dang stinking lucky USU WR's managed to drop a lot of balls on a few 3rd downs... A few of them would have resulted in a 1st down, and 1 or 2 would have been TD's for sure. The score of yesterday's game doesn't tell the story of just how close that game really was.
