It's sad that I am even engaging in a discussion on attendance smack, but here goes:
- >33,000 season tickets are currently being sold at Utah each year
- Utah has sported a 98% season-ticket renewal rate for 7 consecutive years
- As mentioned, Utah is riding a 38-game home sellout streak that dates back to the 2010 home opener
- Of those 38 sellouts, 35 were played before standing room only crowds (exceeding the maximum capacity with extra ticket sales). If bad weather games or post-Thanksgiving day student sections resulted in a few empty seats, it wasn't because tickets weren't sold.
Your 29,000 fan average over the last decade is an outright lie. Given that Utah has averaged over 45,000 fans for 7 consecutive seasons, they would have had to average about -8,000 fans per year for those 3 years before 2010 to meet your number. Not sure if you just completely made up that statistic out of thin air or if you really believe they could average -8,000 fans per year, but you are flat out wrong.
As for your other claims:
- Utah averaged 44,111 fans during the 2004 season and 41,535 fans during the 2005 season (another lie)
- My guess is that your pre-2004 stats are also completely made up
But hey, lying is cool. Especially when you can get 7 thumbs up and a post of the day from CB followers who would literally thumbs up anything if it was anti-Utah. So at least you have that going for you.
