It's both. Come on dude. Many Utahns say 'sell' and 'sale' exactly the same.
And it comes out as 'sell'. If that ain't correlation and causation all at the same time, then I don't know what is.

Did you know that 'orange' was originally 'norange'? Yeah, like in Spanish it's 'naranja'. But over the years 'a norange' became 'an orange' and morphology took place! 'Apron' used to be 'napron', same thing happened there. So glad I majored in Linguistics so I can share such valuable knowledge with CBers at midnight. Good thing I like data engineering too .
