There is a group called Long Range Shooters of Utah that puts on quite a few events.

They may be worth looking up. It was started by a former BYU track and field guy.

PMAA up Parley's canyon. Take Mountain Dell exit and turn right.

When you want to shoot long range there is a place in Price that's 2300 yards.
