I set the bar so low for my wife in our initial years of marriage, I'm all set

I was terrible about celebrating birthdays/anniversary/Valentines, etc.

I feel bad because I know it was tough for my wife, but now, even the slightest effort is often received with extreme gratitude.

I've discovered the secret to a happy marriage, and I kind of just lucked into it, in more than one way.
