Same with us in Vegas, we had a nice dinner every night and frequently had
members take us to lunch. We desperately needed portion control, I didn't learn it all that well...
My comp that put on that weight while I was training him - I once got him served a good 3 or 4 pounds of chicken in one sitting. I thought I was pretty funny.

On my mission every elder lost weight and every sister gained weight. Sounds like it may apply to other missions too
