...he was a problem at times for Bennett. His freshman year he could hide Mahaney a little with Augustus Marciulonis and Logan Johnson in the guard line but this year w/o Johnson it really exposed Mahaney. Also WCC teams were much more physical in defending Mahaney and his shooting declined quite a bit for both 2pt and 3pt shots. The WCC is not even close to being as physical as the Big12. That would be too big of a jump for Mahaney.
