A BYU coach is now one of the top earners in college basketball? How does Pope feel about that? Who cares? How does Kalani feel about it? What will his assistants be paid? If this guy blew me away, maybe I could see it - but time will tell, I guess. I'm afraid BYU will become one of those bloated athletic budgets that doesn't produce, like so many other schools (PAC12, anyone?). Makes me wonder what Burgess's price tag would have been. I was at a luncheon where Burgess spoke, and he was pretty inspiring. Reports are that he's a great recruiter.
