The suns traded with the kings in 2016…we gave you 13, a late 1st, a future 2nd, and Bogdon Bogdonavich for 8 where we drafted Márquese Chriss.

You guys drafted Papagiannis and Labissiere which isn’t great obviously…but blowing pick 4 and 8 is worse than 13 and 27(plus you got Bogdon who was easily the best player involved in anything that year. That is most definitely not a push. Suns clear.

2017: passing on Spida for Collins does not override picking Fox. Fox was a great pick. Collins is still a serviceable nba player too, but you really didn’t pick him, you picked Jackson and Giles. They do both suck. Josh Jackson had his 4th year rookie option declined and the suns had to attach assets to salary dump him on his rookie deal. Not a chance that year is a push. Suns easily clear.

2018: Kings are definitely worse this year. We both passed on Luka, but Ayton is better than Bagley. Suns also redeem themselves a bit with the Mikal pick.

Kings: Bagley(2), Fox(5), Papagiannis(13), Jackson(15), Giles(20), Labissierre(28)

So total busts for suns is 3, kings have 4…but the suns 3 were lottery picks. Only 1 of the kings 4 were lotto picks and it was 13th. Suns had total busts at 4 twice and 8th. That’s 3 top 8 picks who all had their 4th year rookie option declined…so bad.

Ayton and Bagley are both nba players, just drafted way too high, though Ayton does clear Bagley.

Fox and Bridges are the only good picks either team made. Fox is better than Mikal though.

Both are bad but to me it comes down to Kings making the best pick(Fox) and the suns generally picking much higher with 5 top 10 picks. Kings had 2 and nailed one of them. They just missed on mid/late 1sts.

Also you got Bogdon who’s the 3rd best player of anyone mentioned to trade from 8 to 13/28.

Suns were easily worse in these 3 years…but I’ll give Kings the lifetime win.
