too which is a little odd. That is after they finished ahead in the standings of West Virginia and Oklahoma State, but those 2 still selected over them.
But quite frankly, I don't know why they would care that much. Texas Tech gets Depaul that was 3-29 last year and West Virginia gets Georgetown who was 9-28 last season. I don't know why TT and WVU would be excited about those games. At least the names (Georgetown and Depaul) kind of sound cool to fans who don't actually follow closely to care about traditional success.
As a P5 team, if one of these teams wants to schedule good non-conference games they can as a P5 team.
