Jazz got off of Conley's contract and freed up cap space. He definitely didn't fit the Jazz's retool timeline at all.

NAW is ok but is inconsistent and an okay player off the bench at best.

Vandy is a very good defensive player can't shoot 3s well, and the Jazz were not going to re-sign him.

Beasley is so valuable that the lakers didn't re-sign him after 26 games. He signed a huge 1yr/$2M contract with the Bucks and is an UFA again after the season is over for the Bucks.

Also, second round picks are throw-ins for most teams. Not horribly valuable especially in the lower part of the round. (Although Jokic was an obvious exception to that.) Not many teams have their own 2nd round picks.

So, tell me again how bad that trade was for the Jazz.
