Stanford uses their high academic standards as a selling point to recruits.
A degree from BYU isn't as prestigious as a degree from Stanford, but it's a lot better than most, and absolutely better than a degree from Utah.
Although the honor code turns away many recruits, the unique environment of BYU also helps us land recruits we never would without the school being affiliated with the church.
We are never going to be able to out-party ASU, so we should probably promote what's unique about BYU.
