Townhomes and apartments are fine as long as there is plenty of parking and open green space around the buildings. The worst is the SFH units that are packed so tightly a weed can't grow.

A nice townhome community is about eleventy billion times better than a detached home on a tiny lot, four feet away from your neighbor's home and not a tree to be seen for miles. So depressing.
