his D is not good at all, and his O has always been based on the pick and roll. Bynum is not a great pick and roll guy, nor is Gasol. Maybe they can become better, but father time is not on the side of the Lakers on this move. They only gave up draft picks that don't do them much good but I say the Lakers are marginally better for year 1 after Nash with diminishing returns in years 2 and 3, if Nash makes it that far. He is well past his prime.
