They should hire the most amazing coach. Someone who can make sure the team lives up to its highest potential athletically and spiritually, and who will coach at BYU for 30+ years for a modest salary. Then they need to hire coordinators and assistant coaches who are equally gifted -- preferably one should be an African American non-member who later joins the church and becomes an apostle.

All that's left would be recruiting a couple dozen blue chip athletes each year who will abide by the honor code and remain physical specimens after their missions.

I would be pleased if they could get us into a bowl game against the winner of the Rose Bowl, and they should leave an appropriately-colored (and sized) t-shirt on each chair of LES before each home game. If it's raining, they could just close the new retractable roof that was built entirely with non-tithing funds and the donated labor of the Provo 137th Ward elders' quorum.
