This hits the mark. I have no problem with Bronco thanking fans for support
It was the comment about "many" fans who left the game earlier that bothered me. I wondered why Bronco is paying attention to the stands instead of being focused on the game. His comment/observation was unnecessary. It was pure whine. I read it that way because I have learned from Bronco and his sarcastic history that he meant it that way. There was no reason to make a subtle derogatory comment about fans leaving early.
It would have been better for him to have said: "I wish we could have put the game away early so fans could have left to get their kids to bed on a better note. I hate to see our fans leave disappointed. Believe me, we are disappointed too, and we are going to fix this!"
