There's been a lot of talk about how people don't attend games because the
experience at home is so "great." Or the cost of going to the stadium is too "large."

I think that this is ridiculous. When you go to a live sporting event, it's about more than just the game. The sights, the smells, the interactions with other fans...it's something that leaves an indelible memory.

I don't live in Utah anymore, but I miss the interaction with fans (all wearing the same color), the view of Rock Canyon, and the smells of LES. When you watch a game on TV, it's not as memorable and it loses the 'human' aspect. However, I guess that's the trend with everything these days...we're becoming more isolated even though we're supposedly more "connected" than ever.
