For a 4 door sedan. Also where to get it done? Is this something I could or should do myself?

Utah is nazi on this. They don't allow anything on the front.

Unless its changed, they wont allow a very dark tint on the front

They allow 43% on front windows, as dark as you want on back.

Definitely not DIY. $200 bucks on a sedan and it'll look great for years.
