So I moved into a new home this weekend. I had comcast over to install our cable/tv/phone, that's where the fun begins.
I now have 3 different SSID's in my house. The comcast modem/router has 2 different SSID's, a 2.4 and a 5 ghz network with different names. Then the home has a Legrand DA1101 WAP with a different SSID. There are wifi deadzones in the house and the facetime connection drops when walking around.
The Legrand DA1101 WAP has 3 different operation modes, AP, Client, and Router and I'm not sure which one to pick to make it have the same SSID as the comcast router.
Also, I have ethernet drops in all the rooms but I can't get the internet to work through any of them. I took a picture of the setup. Help me fix this mess.
I'd like to:
1. have 1 ssid that I connect to and can walk around the house and not have it drop
2. be able to connect through the ethernet in the office directly instead of wifi.
PS: I realize the phone is connected in the picture below, I tried using ethernet straight from the modem into that but it didn't work.
Anyone able to help?
