So if P5 is a big deal to a recruit, they were more likely to go to Utah instead of BYU anyways. Now, they have an option between two PAC 12 schools.
OSU is made up of coaches that are former Utah coaches. And both GA and KS are known commodities in the state. They were very successful here. In fact, I'd say recruits right now might he more familiar with the OSU coaching staff than the Utah coaching staff. That creates a big problem for Utah. Essentially, the way I see it right now it is GA AND KS against Whitt up at the U.
Defensive players loved Sitaki, and he produced solid defenses consistently. GA has produced strong offenses as well. Utahs OC blunder over the past 8 years is a tough sell to an offensive recruit.
If my son was being recruited between Utah and OSU, it would be a very close decision. But based off of coaches, is go with OSU.
It's been said before, but BYU recruits a certain type of player that wants to be there. BYUs obstacle is not OSU, it's independence. If BYU was in the PAC12, I think it would affect BYU more.
